This year Aintree Racecourse have teamed up with Liverpool-based celebrity salon barbara daley hair & beauty as official hair partners for Ladies Day at The 2017 Randox Health Grand National Festival. The salon, dubbed a ‘Liverpool Institution’ by OK! magazine, has been an iconic part of the city’s style scene for the past twenty seven years and continues be one of the leading names in British hairdressing despite not being based in the capital.
‘Liverpool is very much a part of who we are,’ says Barbara, ‘If we didn’t have the support and inspiration we have drawn from growing up in such a culturally vibrant place, we’d be a very different salon’
Housed in a Grade II listed building, barbara daley hair and beauty creates the perfect space to relax and update your look. With views across the city from its enormous 20ft windows and one of Liverpool’s most famous landmarks, St George’s Hall directly opposite, it’s not hard to see why the city has such a major influence on Barbara and her team.
This award-winning salon has received international accolades for its architectural design since moving to North Western Halls nine years ago in the midst of the city’s Capital of Culture celebrations. It has also received much praise for its hairdressing work being named as Hair magazine’s Best Hair Salon in the North and L’Oreal Colour Trophy Grand Finalists. In 2013 the salon was also granted Leading Salons of the World status, making them the ideal partners for this year’s Ladies Day.
