You’ll find the experience within the Red Rum Garden at this year’s Grand National, forming part of the 40th anniversary celebrations of Red Rum’s historic treble victory.
It will take punters back in time to the ‘70s when Ginger McCain trained the legendary racehorse along the shores of Southport Beach.
Before this, Red Rum suffered from inflammation of the pedal bone and it’s said that the salty water and sand had a healing effect on his hooves. He later became one of the most iconic racehorses of all time.
Whether you know the story of Red Rum or not, our Southport Sands 4D Experience will capture your imagination through sight, sound and even smell.
