The main race is on Saturday 6th April 2019. The three-day Festival kicks off on the 4th April, starting with opening event Grand National Thursday, followed by the ever-popular Ladies Day, also known as #FabulousFriday, on Friday 5th April.

The start time for the Randox Health Grand National Steeple Chase is 5:15pm on Saturday 6th April 2019. As the main race of the Festival, over 150,000 racing fans will be in attendance to see the biggest horse racing event of the year.

The 171st Randox Health Grand National festival traditionally takes place at Aintree Racecourse, which is just a few miles outside of Liverpool in North West England. Aintree Racecourse has hosted the Grand National Festival since 1839.
